high-carbon ferrochrome powder is used as the raw material, and a part of it is oxidized and roasted to be used as an oxidant, mixed with water glass or other binders, pressed into briquettes, dried at low temperature, and then heated and reduced in a car-bottom vacuum furnace at a vacuum degree of 0.5 to 10 mmHg and a temperature of 1300 to 1400 °C for 35 to 50 hours to obtain micro-carbon ferrochrome with a carbon content lower than 0.03% or even lower than 0.01%.
